In 1948, just three years after the liberation of Nazi death camps, a group of Jewish American pilots answered a call for help.

In secret and at great personal risk, they smuggled planes out of the U.S., trained behind the Iron Curtain in Czechoslovakia and flew for Israel in its War of Independence.

ABOVE AND BEYOND is their story.

A stylish Parisian thriller set in the murky world of Nazi-looted art. A young journalist, Esther Stegmann, finds herself caught up in a web of betrayal and complicity as she investigates stolen family paintings, and uncovers a story that has been carefully buried for decades by those closest to her.

Director François Margolin lends the lightest of touches to this dark tale, with sumptuous and beautifully shot backdrops of Paris.

Israeli TV Series on VOD: A Touch Away, Srugim & Mekimi

A-Touch-Away_full-thumb-450x315-47275

A Touch Away: a beautiful but forbidden love story between an Orthodox girl, already arranged to be married, and a secular boy, threatens the families’ deeply rooted cultural assumptions and challenge individual family members’ beliefs.

Srugim: The Israeli “Friends” – with a twist: Srugim (‘Knitted’) is the hit TV series that follows the lives of a group of 30-something modern Orthodox singles as they navigate love, friendship and faith in contemporary Jerusalem.

Mekimi: a mini-series about Noa and her husband’s transition from secular to ultra-orthodox lifestyle. This is the story of Alma, a young media star living in Tel Aviv in the early 90s, who seems to have it all: money, fame, a great boyfriend, successful friends, and a life running along a sure path to success.
